Dear friends and family,
I will be leaving for Liberia on Sept. 16th to return to work with the women who are attending the Women's Empowerment Program at Mt. Barclay. It's amazing the lengths I'm willing to go to for 3 more months of sunshine! Seriously, I find myself a bit intimidated by the prospect of spending 3 months in Liberia and am struggling to believe that I will be useful so I could use your prayers as I prepare to go and while I'm there.
I will be staying at a Mission Guest House in a suburb of Monrovia and traveling about 15 minutes to Mt. Barclay each day. I'm looking forward to seeing the wonderful friends we made in June and am excited about the prospect of spending more time with them. I hope to have regular access to this blog but things don't usually go as planned in Liberia. I will do my best to keep it updated. It's always wonderful to hear from home so feel free to email or send a comment on the blog.
